Oasis

In the heart of the Venetian countryside of San Liberale di Marcon, just behind the Venice Lagoon, the Relais agritourism Ormesani is located in an authentic naturalist oasis that conserves the rare and unique ecosystem where the lagoon meets dry land.
Water, earth, plants and animals define the gorgeous farm and give it its character, creating a real naturalist itinerary of three kilometers among the trees, plants and waterways that permit the guests of the hotel to discover the many essences and birds that find their habitat here.

The Relais

Just as nature is surprising, so is the structure of the Relais agritourism Ormesani: modern and high tech and immersed in the green countryside, letting you enjoy the oasis’ tranquility. The central area of the hotel, where the reception, restaurant and breakfast room are located, is connected by a unique patio to the area where the rooms are situated.
These rooms are located on the ground floor of the Relais agritourism, which resembles a traditional country farm house reinterpreted into a modern style structure. Simple and warm, elegant and comfortable: the interiors of the Relais are expressions of the new Italian design.

“Oasis in the Venetian plains.
Shrubs and trees”

Azzeruolo (Mediterranean medlar), frangola (alder buckthorn), spincervino (common buckthorn) and other shrubs and trees belonging to the thick forest that used to cover the Venetian countryside. These species have been found, replanted and their fruits used in recipes salvaged from the past.

All this information in “Oasis in the Venetian plains. Shrubs and trees”. A small pamphlet complete with taxonomy, interesting facts and recipes, written and sold by Agriturismo Ormesani.
