Dante Bridge remains one of the most picturesque areas of the city. Medieval Treviso with its sixteenth-century walls is a mix of little streets and alleys with its characteristic porticos that converge on Piazza dei Signori, the heart of the city that faces the fourteenth-century Palazzo della Signoria. Also worth visiting, the nearby Loggia dei Cavalieri, Casa dei Carraresi, the location of a prestigious art exhibition, the medieval San Francesco and San Nicolò Churches and Pescheria with its charming houses on the water.
